    ORGIN: Unknown, but best guess is China or southeast ASIA. Cabochon is the Jadeite variety of the two jades.
    DYES AND ENHANCEMENTS; Checked out this cabochon with a Chelsea calcite color filter and detected NO dyes were used on or in the stone.

    Cabochon description; COLOR; pale lavender  CUT; Free form oval with a medium high dome.   POLISH; Satin finish front and back with a bezel on the bottom edge.  INCLUSIONS; several specs of matrix on bottom. Fractures: YES several small internal ones.
